Convention of the Rights of Children of United Nations is presently the most popular and widely accepted form of Human Rights Instrument for children. It came in to force in 1989 to create awareness and acceptance of child rights. It is the first international legally binding instrument that incorporates an entire range of rights – social, cultural, economic, civil and political rights of children. It has been ratified by all the countries in the world except Somalia and United States.

NGO in Vietnam – Providing Social Support System for Children
Non Government Organizations (NGOs) are nonprofit organizations that work for different social causes and issues. They can be local community NGOs, national NGOs in a particular country or international NGOs working across the nations. NGOs provide a platform for the disadvantaged people of society, particularly women and children. NGO for child rights works for the uplifting and improving the conditions of children who are being denied their basic rights like right to life, right to education, right to survival and right to protection. There are innumerable NGOs for child rights operating in the different parts of the world. One of these NGOs is Child Rights Working Group that is based in Vietnam, Asia. Vietnam was the first country in Asia that ratified the CRC - Convention of the Rights of the Child.
